Mid February I visted the very outstanding Exhibtion of Leonardo Da Vinci, this is a exhibit I knew that I could not miss. This Exhibition was being held to see in the five hundredth anniversy of Leonardo's death.

There was collections of his work which were not only remarkable but very educating and intresting, all of the artwork which was on show was Leonardo Da Vinci's work on paper.

By going to this exhbit I gained so much more knowledge on Leonardo as there were many facts that I was unaware of, for example: his unique Scientific trait that also became a huge part of his art.

Leonard Da Vinci Lungs Anatomy.

I was hugely intriged by the artists Anatomy work pieces which I diverted most of my attention too, what a amazing effect they gave off as art and Science were both combined into one. Not many of Leonardo's Anatomy items are displayed permantly around the World as these pieces were done on sheets of paper and with them being from around the 14th-15th centuary it is vital that they are not exposed to too much light as they could be easily damaged. Luckly I had the privilege of previewing his Anatomies of: The Males Bladder, Leg and Lungs. For these forms of art that he had created was stated that he would use Chalks and a Pen and Ink wash effect which I thought all went so well together.

Something that really hit me was how precious this range of work was and still is now, the reason behind this was by a paragraph I came across that was pinned at the entrance of the exhibit. This paragraph explained how back to when Leonardo was working there had been a fall in the price of paper but for him to purcharse would still be very costly, there for he really treaused all of his paper that he owned.

Overal this Exhbition had been so worth visting and I enjoyed it so much, I was so pleased I had the opportunity to see such a exhibit.
