Heide Lange's, Artist Research:

Heide Lange’s work is one of a kind and has such a special touch to it, I am hugely drawn to her Batiks collection which is just simply unbelievable. Her Batick collection consists of very wide range of screen prints showing Swedish and African Culture. The majority of her prints are all printed onto a patterned/textured paper and always printed using black Ink, as a artist my self I also prefer to use black ink when printmaking so this does pull me in that little bit more.

Throughout this collection Heide lange has captured moments, such as: Mother and Child, Cultural dances, selling and more. Lange has such a unique technique that she preforms when creating the stencils for work, especially when she is creating the patterns for jewellery and clothing.

Heide Lange’s theme of work has a connection with mine so because of this I do feel that she inspires me that bit more. I will always be a follower of Lange’s as they’re such beautiful creations.
